"After getting quotes from 3 local companies we went with Mark at Garden City Paving, due to his good reputation, but also because he offered a different opinion on the design of what we were looking for which i believe has resulted in a better end result. Marks communication was clear throughout and made it easy to plan when they would be on site and what we needed to do in advance.
Mark and his team worked incredibly hard, managing to finish the job half a day earlier than planned. Throughout their time on site Mark and his team were polite, hard working, clean and tidy. "The remit was to transform a very tired and old decked garden to a patioed garden. The task consisted of replacing a) a railway sleeper [double height right angled wall] with a s-curved brick wall b) around 5-6 sqm of decking with paving c) around 10sqm decked path with paving d) turf with additional 3sqm with paving e)curb turfed and planting areas with charcoal kerb ricks. The end result was brilliant, friends and family greatly admiring the transformation and the quality of the work done. Mark is a consummate professional, skilled, flexible and diligent, with excellent timekeeping. This job was undertaken in extreme winter conditions, yet Mark continued to work in both the cold and wet. I would without hesitation recommend."

"Mark completely re-landscaped both our back and side gardens. This was a large job with 4-5 lorry 15tonne loads of spoil away. Imported MOT type 1, sand and ballast. 100sq mts of granite slabs c/w charcol block paving edging. Including two large entrance door steps. Top soiled and turfed 100sq mts and cinstructed two outside building bases. All within estimate and agreed budget. As work progressed each stage was discussed and carried out with skill and attention to detail in a professional manner, to the correct constructional speification with no short-cuts. On completion the garden was left clean and tidy. All friends and visitors greatly admire the finished job, which has transformed our garden and outdoor living space. I have recommended Mark to others and will continue to do so."
